We have to find radius of circular path
★ In a perpendicular magnetic field, the charge follows a circular path.
We know that, charged parties experience magnetic force while moving in perpendicular magnetic field.
- Magnetic force = qvB
In this circular motion, magnetic force acts as centripetal force.
- Centripetal force = mv²/r
∴ qvB = mv²/r
∴ qB = mv/r
∴ r = mv/qB
