Given

λ1=3800

λ2=7600A.

To find :

V=?

Solution :

We know that

V=\frac{C}{\lambda }

For the value λ1

V=\frac{C}{\lambda1}

Putting the value of c and λ1 we get

V=\frac{3*10^{8}m/s }{3800*10^{-10} }

V=7.89 * 10^{14}s^{-1}

For the value λ2

V=\frac{C}{\lambda2}

Putting the value of c and λ2 we get

V=\frac{3*10^{8}m/s }{7600*10^{-10} }

V=3.75 * 10^{14} S^{-1}
