The ratio of diffusion rates of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide can be calculated by-

The diffusion rate is inversely proportional to the square root of the molecular weight.

Molecular weight of CO2 =44

Molecular weight of CO =28

Rate of diffusion of CO2/Rate of diffusion of CO=  \sqrt 28/\sqrt44

Therefore on solving it

we get, Rate of diffusion of CO2/Rate of diffusion of CO=0.79
