p = m / 2 × 2 v.

p = m v × 2 / 2.

p = m v.

Heya..^_^

Here's ur ans. ⤵

We know that

Momentum = Mass × Velocity
P = mv

This means mass and velocity are directly proportional to momentum

When mass of an object is half

P2 = 1/2 m × v

P1 / P2 = mv / 1/2mv

P1 /P2 = 2/1 = 2:1
