Answer:moles in 2g of hydrogen (H2)= given mass/molar mass = 2g/2*1g = 1 mol

moles in 32g of oxygen (O2)= given mass/molar mass = 32g/2*16g = 1 mol

hence ratio= 1 mol/1 mol = 1:1

Note: this has been done by assuming that both hydrogen and oxygen are in the gaseous form and not nascent form. Had they been in nascent form, the number of moles for each would have become 0.5 mol and the ratio would have remained 1:1
