Explanation:

molecular mass of H20

= atomic mass of H×2+ atomic mass of oxygen

= 1×2+ 16

2+16= 18 u

similarly molecular mass of HNO3

= Atomic mass of Hydrogen+ atomic mass of nitrogen+ atomic mass of oxygen ×3

= 1+14+16×3

= 15+48

= 63u
