The population ratio is 8.194*10^37

-The relative populations between two energy levels is given       by N1/N2=e^(hc/LkT),

where,

N1 is the population at lower energy level

N2 is the population at higher energy level

 h is Planck's constant = 6.626*10^-34 Js

 k is Boltzmann constant = 1.38*10^-23 kg m^2 s^-2 K^-1

T is the absolute temperature (300K)

 L is the wavelength = 550nm

c is the speed of light = 3*10^8 m/s

-By substituting these values , we get N1/N2 =8.194*10^37
