HERE R1 AND R2 ARE IN PARALLEL EFFECTIVE RESISTANCE BETWEEN THEM = R1 R2 /R1+R2

           =12×4 /12+4

           =3 ohm →1

here the R4 R5 AND R6 ARE IN PARLLEL SO EFFECTIVE RESISTANCE BETWEEN THEM  1/R=  1/R4 +1/R5+1/R6

                                    = 1/6+ 1/3+1/2

                                     =6/6

                                       = 1 ohm→2

                           

here the 1 and 2 are series with R3 SO THE EFFECTIVE RESITANCE

=EQ 1+R3+EQ 2

=3+8+1

=12 ohm
