Given :
Normality = 0.01 N
Equivalent conductivity = 420 ohm-cm
Cell constant = 0.88 cm⁻¹
To find =
Resistance of the cell = ?
Solution :
- Equivalent conductivity = k×1000 / N
- k = l/ R×a
- Aeq = l×1000 / R×a
- 420 = 1000×0.88 / R
- R = 1000×0.88 / 420
- R = 2 ohm
The resistance of the cell is 2 ohm
