Length = L = 1km = 1000m

Radius = r = Diameter/2 = 0.5/2 mm = 0.25 mm = 0.25×10⁻³ m

Area of cross-section = πr² = 3.14 × (0.25×10⁻³)² = 0.19625×10⁻⁶ m²

Resistivity = ρ = 1.84×10

We know that,

R = ρL/A

R = 1.84×10×1000/0.19625×10⁻⁶

R = 9.3757×10¹⁰ Ω
