Given,

L= 1 Km =1000 m=1,00,000 cm

d= 0.50 mm = 0.05 cm

∴r= d/2 = 0.025 cm

ρ= 1.7 x 10∧-8

R=(ρ.l)/a

R= ( 1.7 x 10∧-8 x 100000 ) / π (0.025)²

R= 0.865 ohm
