Resistance is given as
R = ρ L / A
= ρ L / (π R²)
= 1.7 × 10^-8 × 1000 / (π × (0.5/2 × 10^-3)^2))
= 86.58 Ω

∴ Resistance of copper wire is 86.58 Ω
