We have,
- Resistance of conductor = 12
- Diameter of conductor = 60 mm, radius = 30 mm = 0.03 m
- Length of conductor = 20 cm = 0.2m
Now, the resistance;
R = ρ l/A
12 = ρ × 0.2/0.03
12 = ρ 20/3
12 × 3/20 = ρ
1.8 = p
Therefore, the resistivity of the conductor is 1.8 Ω m².
