given,

resistance of material - 2 ohms

length of material -15 cm

area of cross section-25 cm^2

resistance =

resistivity*length /area of cross section

resistivity = resistance* area of cross section / length

2 \times 25 \div 15

2 \times 5 \div 3

= 2*1.66

=3.32ohm meter

hope answer may got

The resistivity of the given material is 3.33 Ω/m

Step by step explanation

Given Data:

The resistance of the material=2Ω

The length of the material=15cm

=0.15m

Area of cross section of the material=25cm^{2}

=0.25m^{2}

To find:

We must find the resistivity of the given material.

Formula to be used:

ρ=\frac{rA}{l}

where:ρ=resistivity

r=resistance

l=length

A=area of cross section

Solution:

Using the formula:

ρ=\frac{rA}{l}

=2×\frac{0.25}{0.15}

=3.33Ω/m

Therefore the resistivity of the given material is 3.33Ω/m
