Calculate the resistivity of the material of the wire 1m long 0.4m in diameter and having resistance of 2ohm

p=RA/l

p=(R*pi*r^2)/l ......................(1)       (since A=pi*r^2)

where,

p---resistivity

R----resistance

r-----radius

A----area

radius=diameter/2  =   0.4/2=0.2

putting values in eqn (1) we get,

p=(2*3.14*0.2^2)/1    

 =0.25
