Solution : here two concurrent forces 25kN and 50kN are make an angle 55° with each other.

Let F₁ = 25kN , F₂ = 50 kN and Φ =. 55°

Using formula,

Resultant force, F = √{F₁² + F₂² + 2F₁F₂cosΦ}

= √{25² + 50² + 2 × 25 × 50 × cos55°}

= √{625 + 2500 + 2500 × 0.57}

= √{4550}

= 67.45 kN

Therefore the resultant of two given concurrent forces is 67.45 kN
