(ii)

Given:

  • Exterior angle = 115°
  • Another exterior angle = 60°

To find:

  • Value of x° ( Second interior angle )

Calculation:

  • First interior angle = 60° ( Vertically opposite )

  • Second interior angle = x°

  • Third interior angle = 65°

→ 180° - 115° ( By linear pair )

→ 65°

Now, we know that

  • Sum of the interior angles of triangle = 360°

→ 60° + x° + 65° = 180°

→ 125° + x°= 180°

→ x° = 180° - 125°

x° = 55°

From ∆ 1 :

By linear pair:

→ 87° + x° = 180°

→ x° = 180° - 87°

→ 93° + y° = 126°

→ y° = 126° - 93°

→ y° = 33°

Value of "z°"

We know that:

  • Sum of the two interior opposite angle of ∆ = Exterior angle

Here, exterior angle is 75°.

→ 42° + z° = 75°

→ z° = 75° - 42°

→ z° = 33°
