Solid angle

given :

area = 1 cm^ 2

and d = 5 cm

solid angle is the ratio of the area and the square of the distance of area from the point.

therefore

solid angle

=

 \frac{area \: }{d {}^{2} }

now put the values

then ,

solid angle

 =  \frac{1 }{5 × 5}

 =  \frac{1   }{25}

= 0.04 steridian...
