Calculate the specific heat of substance of 20 gm using the formula. Weight the calorimeter (m1)with stirrer =25gm Weight of water =80gm. specific heat of copper =0.095. Initial temperature is 20 degree Celsius. Temperature of hot body =60 degree Celsius. Temperature of the mixture =40 degree Celsius

now..

the heat loss of the substance = heat gain by the water + heat gain by the calorimeter

heat loss if the substance = (m2)(C2)( Θfinal - Θinitial )
Θfinal = final temperature of the substance/mixture
Θinitial = inital temprature of the subtance
m2 = mass of thesubstance
C2 = specific heat capacity of the subtance

in the same manner...

heat gain by the water = (m3) (Cw)( Θfinal - Θinitial )

heat gain by the calorimeter = (m1)(Cc)( Θfinal - Θinitial )

hope this will help you :)
