Given : 12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36

To Find : standard deviation

Solution:

First Find Mean :

(  12+15+18+21+24+27+30+33+36) =216/9  = 24

xi xi -Mean (xi-Mean)²

12 -12 144

15 -9 81

18 -6 36

21 -3 9

24 0 0

27 3 9

30 6 36

33 9 81

36 12 144

  540

SD²  =    ∑(xi-Mean)²  / N

= 540/9

= 60

SD = √60 = 7.746

standard deviation, 7.746
