QUESTION

Calculate the surface area of a cuboid if the length breadth and height are 2cm 3cm and 1 cm respectively.

SOLUTION

Here

  • lengh (l) = 2cm
  • Height (h) = 1cm
  • breadth (b) =3cm

 \bf  \large \: surface \: area \: of \: cuboid \:  = 2(lb + bl + lh)

 \bf  \large = 2(2 \times 3 + 3 \times 1 + 1 \times 2) \\  = 2(6 + 3 + 2) \\  = 2(11) \\   \bf= 22 \: {cm}^{2}
