calculate the temperature of 2 moles of Sulphur dioxide gas contain in 5 litre vessels of 10 atmospheric pressure given that for so2 gas equal, a= 6.7atml-2mol-2, b=0.0564mol-1​

P = 10 atm

Van der Waal's equation is written as -

(P + an²/V²) (V-nb) = nRT

Substituting values -

(10 + 6.7×2²/5²) (5-2×0.0564) = 2×0.082×T

11.072 × 4.8872 = 0.164 × T

T = 54.11 / 0.164

T = 330 K

Therefore, temperature of sulphur dioxide is 330 K.
