• according to the question we should calculate the time taken by the signal to reach the moon.

• given clues :

distance \:  \:  = 4 \times  {10}^{8}


and we know the speed of the radar signal is same as that of speed of light.

speed \:  \:  = 3 \times  {10}^{8}


we know,

speed \:  \:  =  \frac{distance}{time \: taken}

therefore,


time\:  \:  \:  =  \frac{4 \times  {10}^{8} }{3 \times  {10}^{8} }
therefore,


time = 1.34 seconds.
