- For every one degree in longitude , 4 minutes changes . When it's west to prime meridian the time increases. so , 120° , converted into minutes give 480 minutes. Hours = 480/60= 8,5:30pm +8 hours gives us 1:30am the next day .
- When it is east to prime meridian the time decreases . The reason is Sun rises at east . Meaning Sun first shows up at east and finally travel and show up in the west.If u have given east .50° = 200 min Hours = 200/60= 3 hr 20 min.
