The time taken by a pendulum to complete on oscillation is defined as its time period.

The number of oscillations made by pendulum in one second is called its frequency.

Now, we have been given that :-

  • Total oscillations = 20
  • Time take to complete = 4s.

Now the time period will be :

t =  \frac{4}{20}

t =  \frac{1}{5}

Therefore the time period of given pendulum is 1/5.

Now, it's frequency Will be :-

n =  \frac{20}{4}

n = \cancel \frac{20}{4}

n = 5

Therefore the frequency of given pendulum is 5 , means it completes 5 oscillations in 1 second.
