Hello mate,

Here is your answer,

f = 512hz

c=330m/s

λ=?

λ=c/v

 =330/512

 = 0.644 m

Wavelength = 0.644 m

T=1/f

  =1/512

  =0.0019 or 0.002 s

Where f and v=frequency,T = time period , c=Speed of light and λ=Wavelength(lambda).

Given:

Frequency = 512 Hz

To Find: Time period of wave

Calculation:

  • Time period is the time taken by the wave to complete one cycle or one oscillation.
  • One oscillation of wave is one trough and one crest.
  • Frequency of a wave in reciprocal or inverse of time period.

Frequency = \frac{1}{T}

So, time period (T) = \frac{1}{f} =\frac{1}{512} = 0.0019 s

Answer:

Time period of wave with 512 Hz is 0.0019 seconds.
