v = 1000 m/s

u = 0

a = 50 m/s²

t = ?

v = u + at

1000 = 0 + 50 × t

1000 = 50t

t =  {\it{\dfrac{1000}{50}}}

t = 20 s

Given :

  • Initial velocity ,u = 0m/s
  • Final Velocity ,v = 1000m/s
  • Acceleration ,a = 50 m/s²

To Find :-

  • Time taken by a body ,t

Solution:-

According to the Question

It is given that body starts from rest and moving with velocity of 1000m/s.

we have to calculate the time taken by body .

We use here kinematics equation

  • v = u + at

where,

v is the final velocity

a is the acceleration

u is the initial velocity

t is the time taken

by putting the value we get

↠ 1000 = 0 + 50×t

↠ 1000 = 50t

↠ 1000/50 = t

↠ t = 1000/50

↠ t = 20s

  • Hence, the time taken by body will be 20 seconds .
