Here,

v = 1000 m/s

u = 0 m/s (Body started from rest)

a = 50 m/s^2

t = ?

a = (v-u)/t

=> 50= (1000-0)/t

=> t = 1000/50

=> t = 20 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

• Initial velocity,u = 0m/s

• Final Velocity ,v = 1000m/s

Acceleration a = 50 m/s²

To Find :

• Time taken by a body,t

Solution:

According to the Question

It is given that body starts from rest and moving with velocity of 1000m/s.

we have to calculate the time taken by body. We use here kinematics equation

• v = u+at

where,

v is the final velocity a is the acceleration

u is the initial velocity

t is the time taken

by putting the value we get

→ 1000 = 0 + 50 × t

1000 = 50t

→ 1000/50 = t

→> t = 1000/50

→> t = 20s

Hence, the time taken by body will be 20 seconds.
