v = fx(lambda)

  =1000 x 0.5m=500 m/s

v = d/t ; t=d/v

t = 500m/500m/s = 1 sec

f = frequency of sound wave = 1000 Hz

λ = wavelength of sound wave = 50 cm = 0.50 m

V = speed of sound wave

speed of sound wave is given as:-

As we know that,

V = f λ

Putting the values,

V = 1000 x 0.50

V = 500 m/s

D = distance traveled = 500 m

t = time taken by sound wave

time taken by sound wave is given as

t = D/V

Putting the values

t = 500/500

t = 1 sec
