Calculate the time taken by the vehicle would take to cover a distance of 2 km
while moving with a speed of 5 m/s.​

Given:-

d = 2km = 2× 1000 = 2000mtrs.

and s = 5m/s

where, d is the distance given

and, s is the speed of the vehicle

To find:-

Time

Solution:-

Let the time taken be t

Here,

d = 2000m

s = 5m/s

therefore,

time, t = d/s = 2000/5 = 400sec or 400/60 = 6.66min

Formula used:-

time = distance/speed

or

t = d/s

Additional formula:-

$speed = \frac{distance}{time}$

$distance = speed \times time$
