Answer:

area of 1st rectangle

=l×b

=10×5m

=50m

area of triangle

=half ×base×height

=1/2×4×10

=20

area of 2nd rectangle

=l×b

=6×10

=60

area of figure

=50+20+60m

130m

Answer:

1) First we will find the area of the rectangle under the triangle.

Given,

Breadth of rectangle=6m

Length of rectangle=10m (as given

above the triangle)

Area of rectangle=length X breadth

=10 X 6

=60m square

2) Next we will find the area of rectangle which is next to the triangle.

Given,

Breadth of rectangle=10m

Length of rectangle=15-10= 5m

Area of rectangle= length X breadth

= 5 X 10

=50m square

3) After that we will find the area of the triangle.

Given,

Base=10m

Height=10-6=4m

Area of triangle=half X base X height

=1/2 X 10 X 4

=1/2 X 40

=20m square

4) Now we will add all the areas

Area of rectangle 1 + Area of rectangle 2 + Area of triangle

=60m square + 50m square + 20m square

= 130m square

So the final answer is 130m square.
