Calculate the total power of the
circuit of two lamps
lamps rated 200w/240v
are connected in Series across
240v supply ?

Each bulb is rated 200W @ 240V. When connected in series , and supplied with 240V access, the voltage across each bulb is 120V (halved) and so each bulb will operate with 100W power only. So total consumption is 200W only.
