let R1 be 4 ohms, R2 be 12 ohms,R3 =R2 =12 Ohms, R4 =24 ohms, R5 =8 ohms
Equivalent Resistance =R1+R2 +R3 +R4 +R 4
resistance of R1 and R2 =1/Rp= 1/4+1/12= 1/3.....Rp=3 ohms ------(1)
resistance of R3, R4 and R5 =1/Rp=1/12+1/24+1/8
=6/24......Rp=24/6=4 ohms. ....----(2)
Adding equation (1) and (2) we get the equivalent resistance of the circuit
=3 ohms + 4 ohms.
7 ohms.....
therefore the resistance in the circuit is 7ohms
Equivalent Resistance =R1+R2 +R3 +R4 +R 4
resistance of R1 and R2 =1/Rp= 1/4+1/12= 1/3.....Rp=3 ohms ------(1)
resistance of R3, R4 and R5 =1/Rp=1/12+1/24+1/8

=3 ohms + 4 ohms.
