Given:-

• Radius of cylinder = 3cm

• Heigth of cylinder = 4cm

To find :-

Total surface are of cylinder = ?

Solution:-

Let the radius of cylinder be r and heigth be h

Total surface area of cylinder =2πrh+2πr²

⇒Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

Now,

⇒Total surface area = 2×π× 3 (3+4)

⇒Total surface area = 2×\frac{22}{7}×3×7

⇒Total surface area = 2×22×3 = 132cm²

Hope its help uh

Answer:

Concept:

A cylinder's total surface area is equal to the sum of all of its faces' surface areas. The cylinder's total surface area—the sum of its curved and circular areas—has a radius of "r" and a height of "h."

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Radius of cylinder , r = 3 cm

Height of cylinder , h=4 cm\\

To find:

Total surface area of a solid cylinder

Solution:

  • Total Surface Area is equal to 2\pi r(h+r)  sq. units. The entire area that is occupied by the flat surfaces of the cylinder's bases and its curving surface is known as the surface area of a cylinder.

Total surface area= 2 \times \pi \times 3(4+3)

                              =2\times\frac{22}{7} \times 21

                              =2\times22\times3

                              =132  sq.units

Hence, total surface area of cylinder = 132 sq.units
