T.S.A of the box
= L.S.A of cuboid+area of base
=2(1+.8).5+1*.8
=18+.8
=18.8m

The surface area of the box=lateral surface area of the box+area of its base
                                              =2(l+b)h+lb
                                             =2*0.5(1+0.8)+1*0.8
                                            =1.8+0.8
                                              =2.6$m^{2}$
             Therefore the surface area of the box is 2.6$m^{2}$
