we know, nitrogen, N2 is diatomic gas.

so,degree of freedom, f = 5

we know, molar heat capacity at constant volume is given as, C_v=\frac{f}{2}R

= (5/2)R

given, R = 8.3 J/mol.K

Cv =(5/2) × 8.3 = 20.75 J/mol.K

we also know, C_P-C_V=R

so, molar heat capacity at constant pressure, C_P=C_v+R

= (5/2)R + R

= (7/2)R

= 7 × 8.3/2

= 29.05 J/mol.K
