Calculate the value of k for which g (x) is a factor of f (x) where f (x)= kx2 -3x+k and g (x)=x-1

As g(x) is the factor so it must divides f(x) and by factor theorem if we put x=+1 will get f(x) =0

So putting x=1 in f(x)

F(1)= k(1)^2-3(1)+k

F(1)=0

0=k-3+k

+3=2k

 \frac{3}{2}  = k
