Calculate the value of the molar specific heat capacities Cv and Ce of a gas,if the ratio of the heat capacities is 1.33. Given R=8.31 J mol¹(Ans Cp=33.49 J/mol K,Cv=25.18 J/mol.K)​

γ=cvcp=1.33

R = 8.312 J/k mole K

Cp=γ−1γR

   

            =1.33−11.33×8.312

           =0.3311054.96

           = 33.50 kJ/k mole K

similarly

 cv=γ−1R

             =25.187 kJ/ k moke K
