angle EAD + angle DAC + angle CAB = 180°

3x - 5 + x + 20 + 65 = 180°

4x - 5 + 85 = 180°

4x + 80 = 180°

4x = 180 - 80

4x = 100

x =  \frac{100}{4}

x = 25

Therefore, the angle EAD = 3x - 5

= 3(25) - 5

= 75 - 5

= 70°

and the angle DAC = x + 20

= 25 + 20

= 45°
