The velocity of Bob is 1.4m/s

Vertical height of the bob = 10cm (Given)

Kinetic energy of the bob at mean position = Potential energy of the bob at the highest position.

Thus,

KE = 1/2mv² = mgh

Therefore,

v = √2gh

v = √ 2 × 9.8 × 0.1

= 1.4

Thus, the velocity of the bob is 1.4 m/s.
