Molecular formula of ethane = C2H6
Mass of ethane = 60 g
molar mass of ethane = 24g + 6 g → 30 g
Mole of ethane = given mass / Molar mass = 60 / 30 = 2 Mol
Number of mole = V/ 22.4 L
V = 2 × 22.4 ( L) = 44.8 L
Since 1 L = 1 dm³
Therefore volume of ethane = 48.8 dm³
