Calculate the volume occupied 8.8g co2 at 31degree celcious and 1 bar pressure

Given that  amount of CO2 = 8.8 g, temperature 31 c or 304 K

Pressure = 1 bar or 0.987 atm

Number of mole s= amount in g/ molar mass

= 8.8 g/ 44.01 g/ mole

= 0.1999 moles

Now calculate the volume of gas from ideal gas law as follows:

PV= n RT  

V = n RT  /P

= 0.199  moles * 0.08206 L atm / K mole*304K  / 0.987 atm

=  5.03 L
