molecular mass of nitrogen gas = 28u
28u nitrogen gas will contain 1 molecule of nitrogen.
1 mole of nitrogen gas in stp occupies = 22.4 litre
∴ 6.022*10²³ molecules of nirogen occupies = 22.4litre
1 molecule of nirtogen occupies = 22.4l/6.022*10²³ = 3.72*10⁻²³ litre
1.28 u represents the molecular mass of N₂ gas 
∴Volume occupied by 1 mole of N₂ gas at stp =22.4 litre
