Number of moles of oxalic acid=

=0.0214 g

5 moles of oxalic acid is oxidized by 2 moles of KMnO4

So 0.021 moles of oxalic acid is oxidized by  moles of KMnO4=0.00857

And to calculate volume of 0.05 M KMnO4 solution is

0.05 moles of KMnO4 are contained in 1000 ml of the solution

and then 0.00857 moles of KMnO4 are contained

=171.42 ml
