Now finding molar mass of CH₄ :

⇒ Molar mass = (1 * 12) + (4 * 1)

⇒ Molar mass (M) = 16 g

Now finding number of moIes,

⇒ Number of moIes (n) = 10/16

⇒ Number of moIes (n) = 0.625

Now finding voIume of 10g of CH₄

⇒ n = V/22.4

⇒ 0.625 = V/22.4

⇒ V = 0.625 * 22.4

⇒ V = 14 litres.

Therefore, volume of 10g of methane gas is 14 litres.
