Calculate the volume of air needed for the

Answer:

C+O₂--> CO₂  

for 12g of C you need 2 x 16=32g Oxygen

So for 1kg=1000g you need 1000 x 32/12=2666g of oxygen  

In moles 2666/32=83.3moles  

As there is approximately 1 molle of oxygen for 5 moles of air you need 83.3 x 5=417 moles of air

and volume, V=nRT/P ,

n=417

R=8.314

T=273

p=101325Pa

V= 417 x 8.314 x 273/101325=9.340m³=9340 L of air.
