Explanation:

CH₄ +  2O₂   →  2H₂O  +  CO₂

This is the combustion reaction of Methane.

Using stichiometry;

1 mole of Methane requires ,2 mole of Oxygen

∴ 0.25 Mole of Methane requires,  0.25 * 2 = 0.5 mole of oxygen.

1 mole of Any gas at STP = 22.4 L

∴ 0.5 mole of oxygen = 22.4 *0.5 = 11.2 L
