Solution:

As we know,

⇒  $Density=\frac{Mass}{Volume}$

Or,

⇒  $Volume=Density\times Mass$

On substituting the given values in the above formula, we get

⇒               $=0.8\times 400\times 10^3$

⇒               $=32\times 10^4 \ cm^3$

The volume of the wood will be "32 × 10⁴ cm³".
