Mass = 400 kg

Density = 800 kg/m³

We know

\sf{\blue{Density = \dfrac{Mass}{Volume}}}

Or, \sf{\green{Volume = \dfrac{Mass}{Density}}}

\sf{\green{Volume = \dfrac{400}{800}}}

\sf{\fbox{\pink{Volume = 0.5 m³}}}

Given :-

  • Mass of wood = 400 Kg

  • Density of wood = 800 kg/m³

To Find :-

  • Volume of the wood

Solution :-

\large \red \bigstar \: \boxed{ \green{\bf  Density = \frac{Mass}{Volume}}} \\

Substitute values in formula

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \longmapsto \sf 800 =  \frac{400}{V} \\

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \longmapsto \sf V = \frac{400}{800} \\

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \longmapsto \   \boxed{\sf V =0.5 \:  {m}^{3}} \\

\large \therefore \: \underline{ \bf \pink{ Volume \:  of \:  wood  \: is  \:  {0.5 \: m}^{3}  }} \\
