\huge\rm\orange{Given:-}

Mass = 280 kg

Density = 800 kg/m^3

\huge\rm\orange{To~Find}

Volume of the wooden object = ?

\huge\rm\red{Solution}

Formula to calculate volume :-

Volume= \dfrac{Mass}{Density}

Put the values.

\dfrac{280}{800}

Cancel 1 zero from each no.

\dfrac{28}{80}

Both are divisible by 4.

(4×7=28)

(4×20=80)

\dfrac{7}{20}

=0.35 m^3

Answer ➣ Volume is 0.35 cubic metre.

Additional Information

Formula to calculate density

Density=\dfrac{Mass}{Volume}

Formula to calculate mass

Mass=Density×Volume

The SI unit of density is kg/m^3

And the CGS unit is g/cm^3

The SI unit of mass is kg and CGS unit is g.

The SI unit of volume is m^3 and the CGS unit is cm^3
